Fishing remains ok on the Pere Marquette River but when you add in reduced fishing pressure and this great weather it makes everything feel good. I found enough hot and eager steelhead yesterday to make a perfect day on the water. It didn’t seem to matter what we threw at them, we got action on crystal eggs, nuke eggs and a new pattern I tied up the day before (pictured below).
