We got a nice rain on Saturday and the fish seem to have seen the weather report and started up stream sometime earlier in the week.  Today showed improved fishing over the last week.  I wouldn’t say the fishing was anywhere near great or even good but it is at least headed in the right direction.

I was hoping for a fresh batch of fish following reports that the little Pentwater River filled with steelhead near the end of last week.  The shorter Pentwater often gets fish a few days before we see them in the middle part of the PM River.
