King Salmon and Dog days of Summer
Pere Marquette guide report provided by Indigo Guide Service
PM River guide report for August 21st, 2009
Water Conditions – On the rise with the recent rains.
Fishing Conditions - The prized king salmon are starting their spawning runs with a few fresh fish entering the Pere Marquette river daily. We have caught some great fish over the past week but we are still waiting for a big push up the river. Stickbaits such as, Thundersticks and Reef Runners have been the top producers in the lower sections of river. Trout fishing remains excellent with the night mouse fishing generating some of the larger fish. Mark
