Pere Marquette River fishing report provided by Indigo Guide Service. Indigo Guide Service offers guided trips across West Michigan.
Water Conditions —High & stained. Temps in the 50’s.
Fishing Conditions — There are a few steelhead still in the river system to catch. Peach and pink nuke eggs as well as crystal nymphs and UV shrimp patterns have been taking fish on and behind gravel redds. Streamer fishing for trout has been outstanding with the increased stream flows and temps. Top streamer choices have been Morlock’s UV Rabbits, Martinez’s Tequila Worm, double bunny streamers and articulated leech patterns. Tip - Big streamers fished fast and erratic have been producing the biggest trout. Trout are rising more consistently to stones, BWO’s, caddis as well as hendricksons and sulphurs.
