A very cold Pere Marquette River in February

Pere Marquette River Fishing Report for February 3rd, 2009

Water Conditions — Normal levels, Temps in low to mid 30’s 

Launch conditions— M-37, Gleasons, Rainbow Rapids and Upper Branch landings are all plowed and open. 

Fishing Conditions  — Lots of  frozen river with many sections of river unfloatable, M-37 down to green cottage is fishable with a few fish being hooked on small egg patterns and nymphs, most anglers are  walking in to fish because of occasional ice jams.
