Pere Marquette River fishing report for November 26th, 2008

Water Conditions — A bit low and clear .  Temps in the high 30’s.

Fishing Conditions  — The fishing is good.  If you haven’t tried fall steelhead for a while this is the year to go.

Conservation — Fall and winter steelhead are great fish.  They are arguably one of the greatest sportfish swimming and offer months of opportunity to stream fisherman.  A single fish can be caught and released many times.  With reduced stocking the choice is to kill steelhead or to let them go and have great fishing.  Wild steelhead should always be released.
