Fishing Report, Pere Marquette River for September 5th, 2008

Water Conditions — Low and clear, but it is raining now and the forecast is for more rain.

Fishing Conditions  — The fishing has improved the last few days and this rain should bring, hopefully, many more fish into the system.  Jed Litwiller and Jory Dirkse watched a huge wave of fish move upstream last evening when they were on the lower river.  Higher water with some color will also help.  No mysteries so far this year with Storm ThunderSticks and Rapala Shad Raps being top producers.  With the forecast of cooler temps fish should start holding in the lower river a bit better.
