West Michigan fishing report for the Pere Marquette River for June 19th, 2008

Water Conditions — Most of the river is still high and dirty after last weeks record rains but the upper half of the river is now fishable.

Fishing Conditions  — I spotted my first hex of the year on a window screen near Walhalla a few days ago.  The calendar says that it’s hex time and I think that the next warm nights are going to produce some great fishing.  Nothing more to report at this time, as the river was not fishable for about a week and things are just getting back to normal.
